BWCA Teaser

Sorry folks - this is all you get tonight.

We arrived home last evening and have had a whirlwind kind of day as we tried to tackle some outdoor projects along with the laundry and cleaning that always accompanies a camping trip.

So as I bid you goodnight I leave you with a perfect photo.

(Well, I don't know if the photo is perfect, but if a picture is worth a thousand words then this photo captures all my sentiments.)

Yinghua Art Fair Pics

What a day we had! Everything was perfect - the weather, the artists, the entertainment, the venue. All we were missing was shoppers. Next year, right?

Here are a few pics from the day. Enjoy!
(FYI - my pics are out of order but my computer is misbehaving so they are just going to have to remain this way.)

next week

we will be here. We are taking my parents who have never been. We are also taking Aidan, who has never been.

James and I have been a few times but we were always participants, not planners.

maybe I shouldn't have said that.........

Here are a few photos Mom, so you can have an idea of what to expect.

James is out of town so Aidan gets to sleep in our bed. I decided to take a little break and go to bed early too..... but of course we chatted for awhile until we both drifted off to sleep.

Aidan: Mom- what was your happiest day ever?

Me: Hmmm, I think the day you were born.

Aidan: Really? Want to know what my happiest day is?

Me: Sure - tell me all about it.

Aidan: The day I get my dog - the dog from Grandpa and Nana. I can't wait!

Me: But Aidan, we might not get that dog. Besides, Daddy and Mitch thought it was really ugly. (Mitch being the neighbor)

Aidan: I know, but they'll get used to it, just like you do when you meet ugly people but they are nice.

house calls

call him.

he makes house calls.

but don't confuse him with Aidan, who also lives at our house. he is not Aidan, he is the Doctor, and he does not think it is very funny if you mix them up.

(I don't know how appropriate it is for the Doctor to put his feet on his patient. But his rates are pretty good. )
