I swallowed my pride, "ate" all the comments I have made over the past year and plunked down a chunk of change for some jeggings.

Good for you! Given the hard winter it looks like Minnesota is having, anything that gives you pleasure and some warmth is a good thing.
I got 2 pair-a denim pair and a pair of black knit ones. It is surprising how they make one look. They are great with boots. I just have to wait for the ice to melt so I can wear my boots!
I'm still holding out against them, but enjoy... I'm sure they look great.

The pair I bought might not actually be jeggings, but they have super skinny legs and a higher waist to hold that "I had six kids" belly tucked in where it should be.I agree - I think they are more flattering and comfortable. Lovin' my pair, too!

I literally just let out a joyful whoop for your jeggings conversion. Aren't they AMAZING? In my mind, they always feel like socially acceptable sweatpants. It's surprising how quickly they become a wardrobe staple.

oh man..this was SO ME last week! I almost blogged about it. I SWORE I would never get some..now I wear them 75% of the week cause I love the way they fit and make me feel and yeah..AWSOME with boots! Hows that Insanity going? still plugging along?
I just bought my first pair of skinny jeans. kinda the same? Guess I'll have to get some jeggings too. But I don't have the boots to go with so haven't even worn them yet!

I think I talked Christa into the skinny jeans after calling her from the fitting room one night... he, he.
I don't own either yet, but just bought some for my girls, so much easier to tuck into their boots.
I just realized I can wear my capris all winter with my tall sorell boots.... ;)
