What I am doing today

Something crafty?

Negative.

Sewing?

Negative.

Off on an adventure?

Negative.

Cooking or baking?

Negative. (as a matter of fact I don't think I will be able to eat for a year.)

Today as I was getting ready to head in to a meeting at work I noted something backed up in our shower. (I won't go in to many more details.) I plunged all the drains, called James frantically, he bought a snake and then we tried our luck again. I have a network of old towels all over the basement, and as I type my new-favorite-person-in-the-world, (that would be Joe the plumber) is cutting tree roots out of our lines. Big, huge massive tree roots! I did not know they could be so big inside a pipe! I missed my meetings, and I am supposed to have a babysitter and head for dinner and Wicked in a few short hours. My basement is torn apart, including a new hole in the wall. I can't really do anything here because the house is all a mess, and I have no water. I am trying to keep Aidan corralled, but I don't want to leave the house because I still look like I just rolled out of bed. And even though I am so behind and have another big show this weekend, I don't want to sew because I think I smell like poo.
Good times.

Well, at least I have another opportunity to put my yummy new cleaning product to use!

p.s. In case that wasn't enough of a problem already.... I forgot that I had unhooked the drain from the laundry to try the snake down the laundry drain, and so I put the first load of towels in the wash and went upstairs to clean that bathroom, and came downstairs to water. Everywhere. The bathroom, laundry area, our bedroom, entryway, Everywhere.

Oh, wow! I'm so sorry about all the troubles. Hopefully it will get under control soon.

How did you like Wicked? I saw it 2 years ago and the two lead actresses were incredible!
