However, now that we are going to take a real trip, I have all sorts of little ideas brewing in my head. When James was in China he worked on a marketing project with Polaroid latest technology called PoGo. When he told me about it before his trip my reaction was to roll my eyes and yawn, "Whatever. What fun is a portable little printer that kicks out 2X3 inch sticker photos?" (I know, I am such a downer to live with.) But now, I am thinking about that little printer, and I have learned I can even hook it up to my Canon, and print out photos on the trip. (Its inkless too so I don't have to continually hound James to change out the cartriges like I do on our home printer) So.... Aidan and I can journal our trip and apply photos as needed! I am so excited! I have a little binder full of important items, like our reservations, documents and maps, and one pocket has fun stuff for our scrapbook, like beach stickers, spare maps, scrapbooking glue, and fun pens. I know. First blogging, now scrapbooking? I am turning into a mom-nerd. I swore I would never do either of those things. And since I am putting it all out there, yes, I confess I have even become addicted to using coupons.

Great Idea
A few weeks ago, I read about this great idea for traveling with your family. That was long before we had even decided to take a road trip, and I just thought it would be fun for us to do this summer as we drove and camped at various Minnesota State parks. (which are all very beautiful, for those of you who have never been to Minnesota. They are worth the trip!)

what a fabulous idea! izze would love to do that as a "car project" even as you are traveling....hmmm i will have to keep that in mind next time we have a road trip. and we miss you:)
