Last summer while James was in Russia Aidan painted this birdhouse for him. I hung it in one of our cherry trees, not expecting any bird would actually makes a home there, but thinking Aidan would get a kick out of seeing it in the tree. The other day I was outside and I noticed some twigs peaking out from under the roof of the house, and when I peaked inside the house a bird flew out right into my face! Who knew birds actually do live in birdhouses?! We might have to make a few more now.
