We have two Grandma's that live in Fort Dodge, and the challenge is always how to divide the time when we are there. This time it was especially hard because we only had one evening to spend there, so one of the Grandma's was gypped. But we had lots of fun at both Grandma's, playing in the yard, golfing, playing with some cousins, and we were able to haul that big shelf out of my grandma's basement and bring it home without a scratch. You would be impressed at our skillful use of Bungee cords! That shelf didn't move one inch on the way back to Minneapolis!
My Grandma and I were inside getting our things gathered up when suddenly she said, "Quick! Grab the camera! "
Aidan and one of his first cousins.
He had so much fun with the girls. And my Grandma wanted me to let everyone know that she is trying paint colors on the wall behind them, so please excuse the background. Dancing around the house to Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Making silly faces!
My Grandma and I were pretty impressed with ourselves and our bungee and rope skills. And I drove the speed limit the way home because the back end of my car was open, and I used 1/3 less gas than I did going to Iowa. But it took me about 45 minutes longer to get home. Not sure what I will do next time............
