Aidan and i had a busy Monday night. We ( i use that term loosely) hauled 25 bags of dirt down the hill in our yard. I don't know if that is alot of dirt or not, but my back is sure sore today! I wanted to use my new wheelbarrow to help save my back, but with all the spring rain, the heavy loads of dirt just tore up our grass. Today we planted tidy little rows of carrots, lettuce, spinach, green beans, peppers, and we have some space saved for our favorite, peas. We also planted quite a few rows of corn next to our garden, and in another sunny patch we found room to grow cucumbers, pumpkins and squash. Thankfully it is raining again, so we didn't even have to water our seeds!
