Last week I thought I would be an uber-smart, healthy mom and sneak some grated zucchini into our sloppy-joe's. I had grated it very fine, and I couldn't really see anything different unless I really examined the meat. And I figured once it's in the bun, who will ever know?
Well, Aidan put a bunch of cheese on top of his bun, ate that part, and then proceeded to take one or two bites from his sandwich. I smiled to myself, thinking about how smart I must be that I can fool a 4-year old.
All of the sudden he had this suspicious look on his face, and his little mouth somehow sorted out all the meat and bun and spit out one tiny little piece of zucchini. And that was the end of that.
I guess we know who the smart one is, don't we?
