Break-Up

For those of you who still care or are interested, it is official - Aidan has broken up with puppy. Puppy has lain on the bathroom floor, all by himself, for a few weeks now with no signs of reconciliation in the near future. I guess that means Aidan is now a big boy of 4 1/2 years, and no longer has a need for puppy. Puppy has been our faithful companion for almost 4 years now. He has been all over the country, he has had "sleepovers" at the gym (when he was forgotten,) he has been to all the Grandma's, he was potty trained when Aidan was, and sported a pull-up as we were out on our errands. He has had countless trips to the water park, (that's what I called the washing machine!) He has comforted Aidan when he was sick, or hurt.... obviously Aidan is over him, so I should get over him too. That's the bad thing about break-ups, you have to chose sides. Sorry puppy, I guess you will be relegated to that spot on the shelf now.
