For the Auntie

This post probably will bore the majority of you - it is intended for my mom and aunt, and is reminiscent of one of their favorite stories about me from long ago.

Today I bought Aidan some Batman fruit snacks and after he saw them he ran and hugged my leg exclaiming, "Thank you Mom, I have wanted these my whole life!" (I am sure you two can picture the exact face he was making and the intensity of his little voice. James says "living with Aidan is like living with a mini-Naphtali." I just remind him, "The hand that rocks the cradle....")

How funny! Yes, I recall your earnest little face and voice as you voiced the exact same sentiment! Great story to start my day...

5:53 AM!! up and on the computer already!! with the sun rising later that sounds too dark and early. (i will say that i'm usually awake, or at least rousing, around that time) and yes. that moment - frozen in time for many of us - remains a favorite
