I don't want to share

While James was in China this summer, I decided to buy myself a new deck chair. We have lots of chairs suitable for eating on the deck, and plenty of extra folding chairs for when we have extra guests, but I wanted a really comfortable chair of my own , so I could sit on the deck and look out at the trees and flowers and read books while Aidan plays.

I was getting tired of racing James and Aidan for the "comfortable chair" on the deck, so I decided to remedy the situation by getting another one. Since the chairs are in the seasonal department, they were already clearanced out. The good news is I picked up another one for $10.00. The bad news is that I had to drive around the Cities to four Targets to find one. I know. That takes some serious time and determination. But really, I didn't want to share my chair!!!!

I spent alot of time in my chair on the deck last week while I was sick. (I slept and read while Aidan played.) This is one of the books I read. I usually don't like books that are written like a journal, but this one sucked me right in, and I could barely put it down.

Some of you may know the story, but for those who don't, I don't want to ruin it for you. All I will say is that I haven't been too interested in eating meat since I finished the book.

And in case you are wondering, if you came to my house I would gladly share the comfortable chair with you.

Can't wait to have a deck! We don't have anything out our patio doors yet.. just dirt! Like the ferns and your arbor over the deck! icking myself I didn't plant more herbs this year.. I have a huge mound of chives that's it.
