reminiscing

I almost forgot this picture. It was taken while we were on vacation. We spent a night at this amazing Bed and Breakfast when we were on our honeymoon, many years ago. (I was trying to scan in some of my scrapbook pictures, so you could see how it looked 7 years ago, but I haven't been able to make the scanner work lately.)

We had a really lovely time at this B & B. While we were eating breakfast we met a lovely older couple from England, and when we told them we were from Minnesota they remarked, "So, you must be proud to have Jesse Ventura as your governor, right?" (In case you are wondering, they were quite sarcastic.)

I was able to find some pictures of our old room on their website. We stayed way up in the belfry tower. The room looks pretty much the same as it did when we were there. Except there is different bedding......

I wonder if that could have anything to do with the strawberry stains we left behind on the pretty peach and yellow bedding. We also woke up with a trail of ants to our bed. Ohhhhh..... those were some good times. (Sorry, Mom. Nothing like reminiscing on the world wide web!)
