Little Helpers

This is how you entertain a four-year-old when you are trying to get the house cleaned and dinner ready before guests come, and he wants so much to help you, but you don't really have time for that kind of help. (I am sure you know what I mean.)

First, you let them pull a chair up to the sink.

Then you let them fill a cup with water....

for them to haul outside....

So they can water the plants.

Then repeat!

All the things kids love - chairs at the kitchen sink, water, hauling water around, and running in and out of the house.
